Mental HERO is currently an independent, developing youth-led initiative working to help educate communities through accessible mental-health resources and opportunities. We are building our programs, governance, resources, and operational foundation with the goal of pursuing formal nonprofit registration in the future.
At this time, Mental HERO is not a registered nonprofit organization or tax-exempt charity.
What a merchandise purchase means
When you purchase an item from the Mental HERO store, you are making a retail purchase of merchandise. Your payment is not a charitable donation, fundraiser contribution, or tax-deductible gift.
Prices reflect the cost of producing and fulfilling each item, including printing, product materials, shipping-related fulfillment costs, platform fees, payment-processing fees, taxes where applicable, and other store-related expenses.
How merchandise proceeds are used
After product-production, fulfillment, platform, payment-processing, and other applicable business expenses are paid, remaining merchandise proceeds are intended to support Mental HERO’s development and mission-related work.
This may include reasonable costs connected to:
Building and maintaining the Mental HERO website and online store.
Domain, email, software, and technology services.
Creating educational content, resources, newsletters, and awareness materials.
Developing youth-engagement and community-resource opportunities.
Producing approved outreach, communications, and program materials.
Organizational planning, governance, recordkeeping, and preparation for possible future incorporation and registration.
Other reasonable, mission-aligned startup and operating expenses approved through Mental HERO’s internal decision-making process.
Mental HERO will not represent merchandise purchases as donations or promise that purchases are tax-deductible.

We are committed to handling store activity responsibly and transparently. Mental HERO maintains records of merchandise sales, expenses, and proceeds, and we are working to establish clear financial controls and governance practices as the organization develops.
