David Artz

David Artz is the founder of StoryAidHelp, the platform he started on July 25, 2022, before it was rebranded into Mental HERO, short for Helping Education through Resources & Opportunities. He created the organization to give young people a space where their stories can be heard and where mental health awareness, education, and support can come together in a meaningful way.

Inspired by his own experiences with bullying and chronic skin conditions, David turned personal challenges into advocacy for others who may feel overlooked or alone. His work has focused on empowering students and young people, reducing stigma around mental health, and connecting people with resources and opportunities that can make a difference.

Through Mental HERO’s Spotlights and public features, David’s journey reflects growth, resilience, and a commitment to helping others find their voice. His mission continues to be building a supportive community where education, empathy, and hope are at the center.
